Our Small Business Cohort starts on August 26
Apply for Lift Orlando's Small Business Institute's fall 2025 Small Business Cohort if you are an inspiring entrepreneur, current small business owner, or someone looking to take an idea or service to market. Our program offers FREE business training and resources to local entrepreneurs and business owners like you.
And don’t miss out on the pitch competition for a share of $25,000 in cash prizes, funding and services. Participants may receive a micro grant following completion of the cohort and course work.
Throughout the 8-week cohort, group sessions will cover:
Business plan development/review
Business operations
Branding and marketing
Finances
Legal
Capital-building
Scaling
E-commerce
Timeline
Sessions take place every Thursday from 6-8 p.m. beginning August 26, 2025. Remember, commitment is key, so only register if you can attend all sessions. Interviews will occur during the weeks of July 28 and August 4, and orientation will begin shortly thereafter.

Lift Orlando's Small Business Institute (SBI) provides local entrepreneurs and small businesses with programming centered on training, business education workshops, evaluations of business ideas, office hours for technical expertise with consultants, and access to local leaders who will help drive entrepreneurs and small businesses forward.
